DAY 9: Figure drawing...

I still need more practice at faces with nupastel.... pen, pencil, stylus, finger, eraser..... sure, no problem.... BUT nupastel is just tough for me.  that's all

This 50 minute one was probably closer to an hour, but I don't remember, we don't have a clock in the class room.

My favorite from class so far and a couple 5 minute poses.

I personally like this 20 minute pose, I didn't get all the shading in that I wanted, but I still really like it.

The rust is starting to come off bit by bit.
I labeled the pictures this time, three 5 minutes and the last is a 20

Still rusty but it is good to be back on the horse... so to speak... you get the joke right?

The first three are 5-10 minutes each (I think)

It has been a year since my last actual figure drawing class.  I feel so rusty. But to help motivate me to become better faster I will be posting each day we have class, and probably my sketchbook assignments on days we don't have class.
